A week before the trade deadline…

November 25th is the trade deadline and it looks like some teams know what they want to get into the playoffs: Nat and Dan have traded players?

After careful review the brother of the creator of RUNPEE and Ladell “Bettis” Betts for Matt “getting fantasy points is not my” Forte.

Rating The Owners

Hopeless Idiots

Everyone knows the saying “the clothes make the man,” it could be said that “the owner makes the fantasy team” Now is the time in the year when we can look back at the performance of each of us and figure out who is really knows his stuff, who can just draft, and who is just a warlock. I personally use tiers to lump levels of players together when drafting, because I am super busy finding the next clip art image so I am going to use that. The breakdown in the tiers are in no reticular order everyone in the same tier is comparatively the same in my book. Buckle up:

Tier One:

Doug: (9-1) Nine wins gets you in Tier one, even if one week he finds a way to win starting Lance Moore, Kevin Walter, and Clinton Portis all in one week. Apparently ADP can carry you to a pretty damn good record and he has the lowest points against. File this under a combo of good, lucky, and warlock.

Eric: (7-3) The team with the most fantasy points this year. Eric must suck at drafting because only 8 of his 16 players were drafted by him. However this guy changes his team’s name more times than a 13 year old girl hits refresh on the new moon trailer site. File this under: bias reporting.

Tier Two:

Alex D: (5-5) This team puts up mountains of points, the problem is he gets a larger mountain put up against him; 3rd in points scored (1089.5) and 2nd in points against (1102.4). It is tough to have anything but a losing record with this. Looking at this team is like looking at a whose who of quality names. File this under must have turned away a gypsy from getting her site selection on and instead of a drag me through hell thing she cursed his team.

Nat:(5-5) Something has to be said for this commissioner who can start Josh Cribbs all year and finds a way to claw his way to a 5-5 record. Other than his misreading of Matt Forte (who didn’t miss that) and his blatant hate for decent quarterbacks. File this under: Changed the rules twice so we could win his last 3 weeks.

More to come later….
